Most social media platforms limit the number of characters you can use in your bio, username and captions that you write.

Sticking to the caption limits can be frustrating and time consuming if you don't make a point of getting it right before you post your content.

Captions that are too long simply get chopped at the character limit, forcing you to edit on the fly if you haven't checked before you post.

You can't really get around the limits for either bio or captions, but you can be clever about how you use the characters at your disposal like:

1. not duplicating your name or business name in your name and username;
2. being careful about how many hashtags you use;
3. being succint when you write;
4. using abbreviations;
5. being aware of emojies;

to name a few.
