Why the IG OrganiSZer?
May 16, 2024Why did I create the IG OrganiSZer®?
Because I wanted to help other solopreneurs relieve the stress and eliminate the frustration caused by managing their social media content.
As small business owners using Instagram to promote our businesses, we're always creating content which has to be saved somewhere.
When I was learning to 'Instagram' I created the system for myself because I hate disorganization in my digital filing system.
I started writing my captions in OneNote, the squidillion versions of my bio, my hashtags, I recorded my Instagram account information—everything that needed to be written down to manage my Instagram account and content was written down in OneNote.
I developed a numbering system and naming conventions so that I could keep files and folders in the order I wanted them in and I created a folder structure so that I knew where all this content needed to be saved.
While still on the course learning how to 'Instagram' many of the other students asked where to save their content and what to name it because they kept losing captions, images and videos they had recently created and searched for ages trying to find them to post when they were due for posting.
I realised that the system I had created for myself was an easy one to implement and if followed it would save them all so much time and frustration because posting to social media would become a breeze—and so the IG OrganiSZer was born!
Not being able to decide whether to use the S (for NZ and the UK) or the Z (for USA) I used both—and trademarked the word OrganiSZer!
